Something not behaving? Most of it is covered below. If not, write to us — a real person reads it.

a conversion failed

Bloom tells you why rather than just saying no. The usual causes are a file that is damaged or incomplete, or one whose contents do not match its extension — Bloom identifies files by reading their actual bytes, so a .jpg that is really something else is handled as what it truly is.

If a large video fails, check you have free storage. Converting needs room for the result alongside the original.

my iPhone video will not convert

It should. Recordings from recent iPhones carry extra tracks — spatial audio and camera metadata — and Bloom handles those, keeping the video stream untouched wherever the destination format allows. A camera recording usually converts in about a second with no quality loss at all. If yours does not, please send us the details.

where did my converted file go?

Wherever you sent it. After a conversion you can save to Photos, share it anywhere, or open it directly. Recent results are kept under History, and Settings shows how much space they occupy with a way to clear them.

Bloom keeps a bounded number of recent files so it never quietly fills your device. Older results are released first; their history entries remain and simply note that the file is no longer stored.

restoring a purchase

Settings → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you originally bought with. Because Bloom has no accounts, your subscription is tied to your Apple ID rather than to any profile with us.

cancelling

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal and Pro features remain until the period you paid for ends.

does it really work offline?

Yes. Turn on airplane mode and convert whatever you like. The only part of Bloom that ever uses the network is subscription management, and that is never needed to convert a file.

accessibility

Bloom supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type at every size, and Reduce Motion — with which the decorative animation stops while anything that communicates progress remains legible. If you hit an accessibility problem, we treat that as a bug and would genuinely like to hear about it.

still stuck

Email contact@edglance.com. Tell us the file type, what you were converting to, and what happened — that is usually enough to identify it straight away.
