These terms cover your use of Bloom, an iPhone and iPad app published by Edglance LLC. Using the app means accepting them.

what Bloom does

Bloom converts files between formats on your device. It is a utility, not a storage service — we do not hold copies of anything you convert, because nothing you convert is ever sent to us.

your files remain yours

You keep every right you already had in the files you convert. We claim no licence over them, and could not exercise one if we did, since they never reach us.

You are responsible for having the right to convert what you convert. Please do not use Bloom to infringe copyright or break the law where you live.

free use and Bloom Pro

• Bloom is free to use for three conversions per day, with no account and no expiry.
• Bloom Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered at $19.99 per year or $4.99 per month, with a three-day free trial on the annual plan. Prices may vary by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed entirely in your Apple account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. We cannot issue them ourselves, but we are happy to help you contact Apple.

what we do not promise

Bloom is provided as is. We have tested it hard — including against deliberately corrupted files — but we cannot guarantee that every conversion of every file will succeed or that output will suit every purpose.

Keep your originals. Bloom writes new files rather than replacing what you already have, but no conversion tool should be treated as a backup, and this one is no exception.

To the extent the law allows, Edglance LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you hold that cannot be limited.

open source

Bloom uses FFmpeg under the LGPL, among other open-source components. The full list and their licences are in the app under Settings → Legal & Credits.

These terms may be updated as the app develops. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
